Tough Champions League draw for Tottenham

Tottenham will face holders Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Apoel Nicosia in Group H of the Champions League.

Europa League winners Manchester United will face FC Basel, Benfica and CSKA Moscow in Group A, while Liverpool will meet Sevilla, who beat them 3-1 in the 2016 Europa League final, Spartak Moscow and Maribor in Group E.

The last time Manchester United faced Benfica and FC Basel in the group stages of the Champions League, in 2011, the Red Devils finished third behind the Portuguese and Swiss teams.

Premier League champions Chelsea will face Roma, Atletico Madrid and Qarabag in Group C, while Manchester City will meet Napoli, Feyenoord and Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk in Group F.

The Scottish champions, Celtic, will face Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Anderlecht in Group B.
